Hi all, We've had a good week down under. I had a great Mother's Day. Kathryn brought me coffee in bed and then she made pancakes for a family breakfast. I got the new Margaret Fulton cookbook, a rice cooker and a slow cooker.

The kids are back in school after Easter and have been non-stop on the computer trying to get assignments done. Christopher is thinking about going for honors in his science journalism class and possible, if that happens, he is kicking around trying for a masters in that subject. He is learning Japanese as well with the thought that he will try to get a job teaching English in Japan just for the adventure of it,

Kathryn is working Thurdays and Fridays at the hospital and going to classes Mondays through Wednesdays. She came home excited this past Friday. She is assigned to surgery this term and a woman came in for an emergency Ceasarian and Kathryn got to watch her first birth! It is a boy and his name is James, After watching the Ceasar, Kathryn has decided that she will opt for natural childbirth when that happens in her life. She's really enjoying working in surgery and has been allowed to observe all sorts of procedures. Next term there is some thought that she will be assigned to the psychiatric ward and she's not too sure about that.

Have to go do the grocery shopping now. Catch up with y'all later. Bridget
